We welcome you to be our guest and join Nextwave’s family and partners for a special evening on Friday, August 28th at 6pm. We are celebrating 5 years of God’s faithfulness and work through the ministry of Nextwave Missions! Our Launch event is our annual celebration and commissioning banquet which kicks off our ministry year. Every year at this event, we worship together, celebrate the Lord’s faithfulness, and commission this year’s staff and student missionaries.

ABOUT THIS YEAR’S SPEAKER
Fady al Hagal brings a compelling global perspective shaped by both personal encounter and lived experience. Born and raised in Damascus, Syria—on the historic Straight Street where the Apostle Paul encountered Christ—Fady sensed a call to ministry at a young age that would ultimately lead him across nations. After coming to the United States for his education, he began a lifelong journey of equipping leaders and advancing the gospel among the nations.
Driven by a deep passion to see people from every tribe, tongue, and nation worship Jesus, Fady has devoted his life to raising up disciple-makers and serving communities impacted by conflict, displacement, and spiritual need. Witnessing firsthand the devastation of war and the suffering of millions across the globe, he was compelled to respond—not only with compassion, but with action. This vision led to the founding of the International Leadership Coalition (ILC), an initiative committed to restoring hope, sharing truth in love, and mobilizing leaders to bring transformation locally and globally.
Fady’s message is both urgent and hopeful: that we are living in a pivotal moment—“for such a time as this”—and are called to carry the love of Christ into places where hope has been lost. His life and ministry reflect a bold commitment to rebuilding what has been broken, replanting the gospel where it has been uprooted, and inspiring others to join in God’s redemptive work across the world.
